Customs Declarant Import & Export 60–100 % (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Examination and control of all customs-relevant documents and accompanying documents
• Professional tariff classification of goods and shipments based on international customs tariffs
• Creation and processing of export declarations via Passar as well as import customs clearances for Germany and the EU
• Execution of Swiss import customs clearances using e-dec Import
• Handling of special customs procedures, including transit procedures and Carnet ATA
• Organization and accompaniment of goods inspections as well as customs audits
• Ensuring correct and timely customs clearance in compliance with applicable regulations

Your profile

• Completed commercial training, preferably with a focus on forwarding, logistics, or customs
• Sound professional experience in customs clearance and international trade
• Good knowledge of applicable customs regulations and clearance processes
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Strong customer orientation and high willingness to provide service
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a reliable personality
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Ideally experience in dealing with common customs software solutions
