As a Senior Registrar holding a specialist title in nephrology, you will ensure clinical activities on a rotational basis in outpatient nephrology, hospital nephrology, hypertension, dialysis, or transplantation.

You demonstrate resilience, clinical sense, and a high capacity for analysis in managing sometimes complex situations. Thanks to your organizational skills and your ability to prioritize, you efficiently ensure your clinical activities while responding to multiple demands (patients, telephones, correspondence, meetings).

You operate in a demanding environment at the interface of care, teaching, and research. In this capacity, you collaborate closely with the entire medical care team and ensure clear, fluid, and respectful communication, both with your colleagues and with patients, by adapting your discourse to their understanding.

Relying on your team spirit, you demonstrate solidarity in the face of unforeseen events. As a senior registrar, you participate actively in the supervision and training of resident doctors of the medical department in the field of nephrology and hypertension, adopting a mentoring posture and sharing your expertise. You have a frontline activity. You ensure teaching activities in the field of nephrology (AMC, Forum, UIDC, APP, exams, trainees).

You hold a federal medical diploma or possess training deemed equivalent by the Commission des professions médicales of the Office fédéral de la santé publique (MEBEKO).

You benefit from an FMH title in nephrology or you have a title deemed equivalent recognized by MEBEKO and possess the cantonal right of practice or are able to obtain it before your commencement of duties from the cantonal doctor of Genève.

You justify confirmed experience in general nephrology and with dialyzed patients allowing you to be autonomous. Significant experience in transplantation or a strong interest in the field is an asset for the position. As part of this position, you wish to strengthen your expertise in a renowned university center for one to two years.

For non-French speaking persons, a C1 level in French for both spoken and written tests is required.

You have excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible, committed person and demonstrate discretion. Furthermore, you have demonstrated strong capacities for adaptation and a strong team spirit and solidarity towards team members.

You can work both in day shifts, as well as night and weekend shifts.
