Primarschule St. Stephan stands for future-oriented and child-friendly education. We design school innovatively, continuously develop our teaching, and assess holistically instead of with grades. In this way, we enable all children to develop their strengths and build competencies for lifelong learning. The municipality of St. Stephan is located in Obersimmental between Zweisimmen and Lenk. Our rural school is manageable and family-like, teaching from kindergarten to the 6th grade in eight multi-age classes. St. Stephan belongs to the holiday destination Lenk-Simmental and provides access to the Gstaad region ski area.

Tasks ###

For our parallel class of the 3./4., we are looking for a committed class teacher from 11.01.2027 to 26.02.2027. Teaching takes place in close cooperation with the level team. You will teach 20 lessons in the subject areas German, Mathematics, French, NMG, Sport, BG and TTG. In addition, you will support the teaching of the entire 3./4. grade with 2 IF lessons and 1 lesson of classroom assistance. The teaching times are Monday (7.30 to 11.50), Tuesday (8.20 to 11.50 and 13.25 to 15.50), Wednesday (7.30 to 11.50), Thursday (8.20 to 11.50 and 13.25 to 15.00). The snow sports days of the entire Cycle 2 take place during this time,

Requirements ###

Ideally, you have a primary school teacher's certificate or a bachelor's degree for the primary level. - You are a committed, communicative and resilient personality. - You accompany the children carefully and promote them effectively. - You like being part of a committed, proactive and helpful team (a high willingness to work in a team is very important to us) - Children are very precious to you and you recognize the potential in each one that needs to be developed.
