As part of the circular economy, we recover high-quality metals and mineral substances from slag, thereby making an active contribution to environmental protection. To build up our new team, we are looking for from 1. September 2026 a Operations Manager 100% (m/f) in Kerzers (CH) Your main tasks are: Operational Management: You are responsible for the industrial 2-3 shift operation of the processing plant and ensure the achievement of production goals. Team Leadership: As the direct supervisor of the shift leaders, you promote a performance culture based on safety, quality, and personal responsibility. Process Optimization: You continuously analyze production processes and implement measures to increase efficiency and maximize recovery rates. Maintenance Planning: You coordinate preventive maintenance and repair to guarantee maximum plant availability. Quality Management: You monitor the production volume and ensure that the output materials meet the highest quality standards. Occupational Safety & Environment: You bear responsibility for strict compliance with safety regulations (SUVA) as well as environmental requirements and promote risk awareness within the team. Interface Function: You act as a central hub between production, logistics, and management and coordinate material flows (delivery/removal). Your Profile: Education: You have a basic technical education with an advanced qualification, for example as a Techniker HF, process specialist, or industrial master. Professional Experience: You bring several years of leadership experience in an industrial production environment, ideally from the fields of recycling, construction materials, or heavy industry. Technical Know-how: You possess sound knowledge in the maintenance of large mechanical plants and are experienced in managing shift models. Leadership Personality: As an assertive personality, you are characterized by a high "hands-on" mentality and enthusiasm for forward-looking, sustainable technologies. Values: A pronounced awareness of occupational safety and ecological responsibility is a matter of course for you.
