Le Centre de Formation Professionnelle Spécialisée (CFPS) Le Repuis is one of the leading structures in French-speaking Switzerland for the training of apprentices with cognitive, physical, psychic or behavioral difficulties. It welcomes approximately 370 young people per year from all of French-speaking Switzerland and is headquartered in Grandson.

We are looking to strengthen the masonry sector

A mason – 100 % as an apprentice trainer (MSP)

To accompany apprentices in the masonry sector within the CFPS Le Repuis in the workshop as well as on construction sites. You will join a small team to ensure the training of apprentices according to the professional requirements of the branch, in close collaboration with the internal network.

The main tasks will be:

• Training apprentices towards a CFC, an AFP or practical training internally and with external partners, by adapting methods and tools to their specific difficulties
• Ensuring support on a practical level as well as on a behavioral and social level allowing integration into the labor market
• Welcoming and evaluating trainees in the professional orientation phase
• Writing reports on the training of apprentices for our clients
• Collaborating with the various support measures offered (support courses, boarding and day students, psychologists and nurses, etc.)
• Participating in internal network meetings concerning the training project for young people
• Participating in the organization and management of assigned construction sites (deadlines, deliverables)

We require:

• CFC in masonry or CFC in road construction
• ES/HES pedagogical training or the willingness to acquire it during employment
• Experience in training apprentices
• Experience as a team leader is an asset
• Several years of experience in a company in the trade
• Autonomy and organizational skills
• Personal maturity to approach the complex situations of young people
• Ability to collaborate in a team as well as with various partners from different trades
• Professional experience in a pedagogical or social context is an asset
