The special education department of the Department School and Sport (DSS) is the competence center for pedagogy for special needs and makes an important contribution to integrated teaching in ordinary schools as well as to collaboration with external special schools.

Your tasks ##

From February 2027 or by agreement, we wish to strengthen our team with a committed and qualified person as pedagogical lead in special education (70-80%). This function could also be considered as a job share.

You will be responsible for:

• Professionally advising and supporting teachers, school managements, and other professionals involved in the field of special education
• Implementing, accompanying, and monitoring external measures from special schools
• Collaborating in an interdisciplinary manner with internal and external partners: professionals, schools, institutions, and authorities
• Participating collegially in the special education department team

Your profile ##

• Master's in school curative pedagogy or equivalent training
• Several years of experience in integration or special education
• Structured and autonomous way of working
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration
• Resilience and the ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations
• High capacity for self-organization and sense of administrative processes
• Professional security and desire to participate actively in design
