As a non-profit operation of the Stiftung Blindenheim Basel, irides AG stands for lived participation and professional support. From August 2027, we offer an exciting apprenticeship position as Specialist Hospitality - Housekeeping EFZ Rita Feleppa, vocational trainer, tells you what your apprenticeship with us could look like: During your three-year training, you will gain in-depth insight into hospitality and housekeeping. Throughout your entire training period, you will be closely accompanied by me as a vocational trainer and my team, individually supported, and specifically prepared for a successful apprenticeship completion. You will complete your training in three different departments. These are Lingerie, Cleaning, and Gastro/Service. You will welcome and advise guests and ensure a positive first impression with your well-groomed appearance. In addition, you will gain insight into the cleaning and care of the laundry for the entire house and actively help with individual tasks. Your further tasks include preparing and cleaning the residents' rooms as well as cleaning rooms and common areas throughout the entire operation. Your profile • Completion of secondary school in the Leistungszug E (or Leistungszug A with good academic performance) • Enjoyment of housekeeping activities and guest care • Polite manners and a well-groomed appearance • Ability to work in a team • Physical and mental resilience • Willingness to work irregular hours • Good oral German skills Our offer We offer you professional training and comprehensive support by experienced professionals. You will receive 4-6 days of individual learning support per training year to look at various topics, whether academic or practical. You will work in a well-coordinated and motivated team.
