Aufberg AG offers a unique chain of services in the care and support of toddlers, children, adolescents, women, and families in Northwest Switzerland. We have a modern infrastructure and a total of 250 living and care places at various locations in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. The focus of our pedagogical work lies on creating optimal transitions between the individual services and maximum relationship continuity. As a certified organization, we work according to the Bündner Standard for the prevention and processing of boundary-violating behavior. For our children's group in the Mother-Child House in Basel, which offers help and support to mothers or expectant mothers who are in a difficult life situation, we are looking for 1. October 2026 or by arrangement a Childcare Specialist 80%. ## Your main task includes the holistic care and age-appropriate promotion of the children outside of maternal care in the children's group. In addition, you support the mothers in educational tasks, as well as in institutional daily life in the Mother-Child House. The area of responsibility further includes: • Ensuring care of the children in the children's group that corresponds to the child's well-being • Taking over and guiding infant care • Creative daily activities with offers for children of different ages • Planning, organizing, and conducting excursions with the children • Accompanying the mothers and children to doctor's appointments • Carrying out daily housework • General design and modification of the group rooms according to the age and interests of the children If you possess the following competencies, we can offer you an interesting position in a special environment: • You have successfully completed training as a Childcare Specialist EFZ or an equivalent training • You have at least five years of professional experience • You possess high empathy, communication, and teamwork skills • You are a resilient, reliable personality with a sense of responsibility and humor With us, you will receive the opportunity to contribute your ideas and experiences to everyday work and to make a difference together with the team and the clients.
