The Fondation Vieillesse in Herisau is the home of more than 250 elderly people. Across the three sites Heinrichsbad, Ebnet and Dreilinden, approximately 260 employees contribute daily in our homes. They ensure a high quality of life for the residents and thus make a valuable contribution to society. At the Heinrichsbad site, we offer a home to approximately 130 residents in an atmosphere close to nature and family-like. The Park house, nestled in the magnificent Heinrichsbad park, comprises three residential groups with approximately 90 residents. In the Waldegg house, approximately 40 people with dementia live in two protected groups specially adapted to their individual needs.

For the supervision and care of residents during the night, we are looking for reinforcement for our team as

Your demanding and varied tasks:

• You independently take charge of care and support tasks within the scope of your competencies.
• You perform night and control rounds and ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.
• You support nocturnal needs, position changes as well as bedtime and waking up.
• You react calmly and with empathy to calls, agitation and unforeseen situations.
• You carefully document relevant observations and ensure a reliable handover to the day shift.

Our requirements:

• You have completed the Swiss Red Cross care assistant course and possess proven experience in long-term care.
• You have a good command of German orally and in writing.
• You approach our residents with respect, patience and empathy.
• You keep your calm even in demanding situations and act in a safe and responsible manner.
• You work independently and reliably on the night shift while enjoying teamwork.
