Hotel & Gastro Union organizes employees and professionals from the gastronomy, hotel, and bakery and confectionery industries in a joint professional organization. For the independent management and further development of two of our professional associations each, we are looking for an entrepreneurially minded personality with sound industry experience as of 1 February 2027 or by arrangement. You lead both associations with their respective professional profiles and members and combine member orientation, professional responsibility, and shared potential. Association Manager 100% (m/f/d) You will take over two of the following professional associations * Berufsverband Service · Restauration * Berufsverband Hotellerie & Hauswirtschaft * Berufsverband Hotel · Administration & Management * Berufsverband Bäckerei & Confiserie What you move * You lead and develop your two professional associations operationally, strategically, and economically, are responsible for budget and resources, and implement the defined goals and resolutions together with the presidencies and boards. In doing so, you recognize risks early and create transparent decision-making bases * You develop and realize measures for sustainable member acquisition, retention, and activation and design offers with recognizable member benefits * You represent your professional associations in educational, professional, and industry organizations, help shape professional, vocational training, and vocational policy topics, and maintain important relationships with members, schools, multipliers, and partners - This strengthens the visibility and positioning of both professional associations * You plan and manage events, competitions, and projects and work closely with the responsible specialist departments on larger or cross-association projects * You promote cooperation between your two professional associations, utilize synergies with other professional associations and the central specialist departments of Hotel & Gastro Union, and thereby preserve the independent professional profiles, member needs, and committees Why you succeed * With higher vocational education, a university of applied sciences or university degree, or a comparable qualification, ideally with a business administration connection * Several years of practical industry experience; you know the needs of professionals and the challenges of the industry from your own experience and ideally possess an industry network * Experience in management and the independent control of projects or business areas. * Experience in working with boards, militia bodies, and different stakeholders or the willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with this environment. * Interest in vocational training, industry development, and advocacy as well as a confident appearance, negotiation skills, and strong member orientation * Very good German skills and good French skills for cooperation with members and partners in different language regions What you can count on You can expect a humorous and committed team at eye level, a lot of personal responsibility, and room for your own ideas.
