For our location in Niederurnen, we are looking for, by arrangement, a Head of Transport Dispatch 100% (m/f/d) Head of Transport Dispatch 100% (m/f/d) Tasks Responsibility for the operational control and active cooperation in the areas of incoming and outgoing goods transport as well as customs and foreign trade compliance Leadership of the three-person transport team with functional leadership, motivation, and further development of the employees Ensuring a smooth and legally compliant transport process in road, rail, sea, and air transport with national and international transport and logistics partners as well as coordination of transports between the Swisspearl locations Responsibility for compliance with all customs and foreign trade law as well as transport-relevant legal and regulatory requirements Continuous further development of transport processes at the operational and strategic level with a focus on Lean Logistics, digitalization, and automation Close cooperation and interface management with the areas of purchasing, logistics, order management, and production planning as well as the Transportation Category Owner and the transport managers of the other Swisspearl locations Development, monitoring, and continuous optimization of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and increase logistics and transport performance Requirements Completed vocational training in the field of transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, supplemented by advanced vocational training or a university degree (e.g., as a transport specialist, logistics specialist, or with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management) Several years of professional experience in the control and management of transport processes, ideally in an industrial environment Sound knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage Strong leadership competence, assertiveness, and excellent communication skills High sense of responsibility, a structured and independent way of working, and a strong hands-on mentality Experience with Lean Management is an advantage Very good German language skills as well as English skills in spoken and written form (C1 level) We offer A responsible and exciting field of activity awaits you in a sustainably growing company.
