Embedded in the picturesque landscape on Lake Zurich, Richterswil, with over 14-500 inhabitants, is one of the medium-sized municipalities in the Canton of Zurich. To complement our Social Services team, we are looking for a team-oriented personality as of 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as

Head of Central Social Services (100%) ##

Your tasks

• Management of the polyvalent secretariat with around six employees
• First point of contact for clients as well as networked cooperation with specialist agencies
• Case management with the social workers
• Organization of authority meetings including minute-taking and drafting of decisions
• Housing coordination of the municipality-owned properties
• Supervision of the KV apprentices (approx. five months per year)

Your profile

• Commercial basic training EFZ
• Experience in the area of social assistance, social insurance and/or professional curatorship is an advantage
• Very good IT user skills (MS Office, KLIBnet)
• Precise, independent and reliable way of working
• Leadership experience as well as discretion and loyalty
