Azure Databricks Solution Architect

• IT - IT Infrastructure & Operations • Zürich • Contracting • Part-time, 30-50% • Immediately - June 2027 ++ • Azure Databricks, Data Vault, data modeling, DevOps, CI/CD Your tasks: • Architecture, conception and construction of an Azure Databricks platform • Definition and implementation of data architectures for modern analytics and reporting solutions • Advising business and IT stakeholders regarding architecture, governance and best practices • Support in the migration of existing analytical platforms to the Azure Databricks world • Development and evaluation of data models for different application areas • Ensuring scalability, performance and compliance requirements, ideally in a regulated environment • Collaboration with Data Engineers, platform teams and other stakeholders   Your profile: • Several years of experience as a Solution Architect in the field of Data & Analytics • Verifiable experience with the construction and architecture of Azure Databricks • Experience working within regulated environments (e.g., Banking, Finance, Insurance) • Sound knowledge of data architecture as well as data modeling (3NF, Data Vault 2.0, dimensional modeling Star/Snowflake schema) • Experience in the migration or modernization of analytical platforms • Nice to have: Experience with DevOps as well as CI/CD pipelines, knowledge of Oracle Exadata, experience in cloud transformations and modern data platforms • Very good knowledge of German and English
