Automation Technician Service Technician Indoor and Field Service

Activities

• Careful induction in the plant and accompaniment by an experienced service technician in the field
• Getting to know machines, products, and operating processes
• Step-by-step takeover of independent service assignments
• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of machines at the customer's site
• Analysis and rectification of faults on-site and via remote support
• Technical contact person for customers and ensuring reliable plant operation
• Support of internal assembly and manufacturing
• Requirements
• Basic technical training with EFZ (Polymechanic, Automation Technician, or similar)
• Very good mechanical and good electrotechnical knowledge (reading and understanding schematics)
• Knowledge of networks is an advantage (setting up networks, configuring, and integrating devices)
• Experience as a service technician as well as in handling remote tools is an advantage
• Reliable, resilient, and team-oriented personality with an independent and solution-oriented way of working
