What you can achieve

• Development and design of components and assemblies up to series maturity
• Development of mechanical plastic solutions for our Liquid Handling products, especially consumables and their integration into overall systems
• Selection and evaluation of materials, manufacturing processes, and design concepts
• Technical support for design, material, manufacturing, and tooling topics
• Creation of the required manufacturing documentation including drawings
• Procurement of components and materials for functional models and prototypes
• Close cooperation in the interdisciplinary project team as well as with external suppliers and partners

What you bring

• Completed basic technical training as a designer, polymechanic, or comparable
• Degree in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, or comparable at FH/HF level
• Several years of professional experience in development and design
• Profound experience with plastic components and injection molding technology
• Good CAD knowledge, ideally SolidWorks
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for creative solutions and innovative products
• Good communication skills in German and English
