Architect (m/f) 80%-100%

EVERYONE HAS GOOD IDEAS.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN ALSO BUILD THEM! 😎

ARCHITECT FH / ETH (80–100 %)

Project Development | Project Design | Building Applications

📍 Swiss Baumanagement AG | St. Gallen

Do you look at a plot of land and already have the first ideas in your head?

Can you develop a well-thought-out project from a vision?

And do you know that sometimes worlds lie between a beautiful visualization and a legally binding building permit?

Then we should get to know each other!

🏗️ WHO WE ARE

We are Swiss Baumanagement AG in St. Gallen – an architecture and construction management office that accompanies projects from the first idea to realization.

We develop, design, plan, and build.

For us, it is not just about beautiful architecture, but also about functioning floor plans, economical solutions, well-thought-out concepts, and projects that can actually be realized.

In short: We like good ideas. Even more, we like good ideas that work.

💡 YOUR MISSION

With us, you are not simply a plan processor. You actively help shape projects.

• Project developments: Recognize the potential of plots and real estate and develop convincing development concepts from them.
• Feasibility studies: Check usage possibilities, building variants, and building law framework conditions.
• Design and project design: Independently develop architectural concepts, floor plans, facades, and project plans.
• Building applications: Prepare building application documents and accompany projects through the permit process.
• Authority contacts: Coordination with municipalities, specialist offices, and other project participants.
• Project optimization: Bring design quality, economic efficiency, and building law requirements into harmony.
• Collaboration: Close exchange with management, construction management, specialist planners, and clients.

🎯 WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have a completed degree in architecture FH or ETH or an equivalent recognized university degree.

What is also important to us:

• Experience or sound knowledge in project design and architectural design.
• Good understanding of Swiss building legislation and building permit procedures.
• Good ArchiCAD knowledge.
• Design flair and a strong spatial imagination.
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working.
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a sense for economical solutions.
• Good German language skills for communication with clients, authorities, and specialist planners.

You do not have to have a solution for every problem immediately. But you should enjoy finding one.

🚀 WHAT WE OFFER YOU

• 5 weeks vacation – good ideas sometimes arise outside the office too.
• Start of work possible from 07:00.
• A workload of 80–100 %.
• Versatile and demanding architecture projects.
• Independent project processing and creative freedom.
• Direct exchange with management.
• Short decision-making paths and the opportunity to implement your own ideas.
• Development opportunities and the perspective of taking on additional project responsibility.
• Fair, performance-based remuneration according to your experience and responsibility.

☕ APPLICATION? RATHER SHOW US YOUR IDEAS!

We don't need a five-page treatise on how creative and team-oriented you are.

We want to see what you can do!

Send us your CV, some selected project examples or a portfolio, and a few personal words.

Or just call – perhaps your next exciting project begins with a good conversation.
