In the context of the creation of a new sector in the Network department, we are recruiting a: Head of Network Development Sector 80-100% Your mission In this function, you are responsible for steering and coordinating the strategic development of the Valaisan high-voltage network (HT). You ensure the strategic management of the assets of this network, the responsibility for coordinating connections in the field of high voltage as well as contractual aspects. Integrated into the Networks department, you guarantee the direction and development of the sector. As such, you resolutely orient the sector towards strategic network development and the project portfolio. You plan and develop the necessary resources, encourage the targeted development of employees' skills - particularly in the field of Asset Management -, actively participate in the management of the Networks department and directly support the department manager. You ensure close coordination with different partners such as Swissgrid, Valgrid, distribution network managers, producers, industrial partners, customers and authorities. You pilot the development of the high-voltage network, emphasizing supply security and the integration of necessary strategic capacities in the long term. Among your other responsibilities are the conduct of studies related to network development, monitoring connection requests and managing connection and network usage contracts. Additionally, you are responsible for managing contracts related to key assets with simple companies. Your profile EPF / HES engineer's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification with ideally an EMBA At least 5-7 years of experience in strategic development and asset management of electrical networks Confirmed experience in team management Experience in the field of HT networks is an asset Experience in leading multidisciplinary HT projects Very good communication and negotiation skills Leadership and sense of responsibility Sense of organization and planning (initiative, proactivity, sense of anticipation) Perseverance, reliability and flexibility Native language French or German with a very good command of the other language (level C1), very good command of English (level C1) also Why join us?
