Project Manager Product Development (m/f/d) Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers

Resin-insulated medium voltage instrument transformers are at the center of this demanding position. As Project Manager Product Development, you will take technical responsibility for the further development of our products and the solution of complex challenges in resin insulation technology. In doing so, you will connect our engineering team in Hirschthal/Aargau (CH) with our production site in Ankara-Akyurt (TR), develop innovative solutions, and accompany their implementation through to series production. You can expect a versatile task with great creative freedom, international cooperation, and the opportunity to significantly shape the future of our medium voltage instrument transformers.
The position can be performed from either our location in Hirschthal/Aargau (CH) or from Ankara-Akyurt (TR). Intensive travel between both locations is indispensable.

What you do:
Technical product responsibility for our resin-insulated medium voltage instrument transformers as well as their continuous further development and optimization
Independent management of demanding product development projects from conception through prototype development to successful series production
Development and optimization of technical solutions, particularly in the field of resin insulation technology, taking into account their practical feasibility
Close coordination between our engineering team in Hirschthal and production in Ankara-Akyurt as well as ensuring efficient knowledge transfer
Accompanying and optimizing manufacturing processes, prototype tests, and technical inspections in close cooperation with quality assurance, testing laboratories, and other specialist departments
Functional leadership of cross-location project teams as well as consistent implementation of technical decisions in coordination with the responsible persons on site
Analysis of technical challenges, development of practical solutions, and continuous improvement of our products and processes

What you bring:
Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable technical qualification
Several years, ideally 5–8 years of practical experience as a development engineer, product engineer, or technical project manager in medium voltage technology, especially with instrument transformers, resin transformers, or comparable products
Sound knowledge of resin technology, particularly its application as an electrical insulating medium, as well as experience with corresponding manufacturing and development processes
Experience in the independent implementation of technical development projects, ideally from design to industrialization and series production
Experience in the functional leadership of project teams as well as strong assertiveness, even in an international production environment
Strong hands-on mentality, analytical thinking, and the ability to solve technical challenges independently and in a practice-oriented manner
Very good German and Turkish skills for cross-location cooperation as well as good English skills
High willingness for regular, including multi-week, stays at both locations in Switzerland and Turkey
