What you will do

• You ensure friendly and professional service at events and take care of guest supervision
• The organization and preparation of the event location, including decoration and setting the tables, is in your hands
• You prepare catering orders, make them ready, and deliver them
• In daily operations, you actively support to ensure a smooth process
• You undertake general tidying and cleaning work and thus contribute to a well-maintained atmosphere

What you bring with you

• You have a completed training in gastronomy EFZ
• Interacting with people gives you joy, and you show a high degree of service orientation
• With quick comprehension, independence, flexibility, team orientation, and physical resilience, you master every challenge
• Your German level is at C1-C2, so that you can communicate confidently and competently
• You possess excellent organizational talent and a structured, independent, and clean way of working

Your place of work

In the Restaurant Espace in Bern Wankdorf, our host team with 26 employees treats around 1000 guests daily. The attractive, varied, and seasonally adjusted offering consists of two daily changing menus, vegetarian dishes, fresh pasta, marketplace buffet and salad buffet, as well as homemade cold and warm snacks in the cafeteria. Additionally, the gastronomy includes the Cafeteria l' Espace and a served VIP guest restaurant. Through the in-house catering offer, there is the possibility to order snacks and drinks for meetings or apéros. Regular company actions as well as special occasions are carried out.
You work from Monday to Friday, depending on the duty roster.
