Production Engineer

You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of production-relevant documentation and the optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes in railway technology.

Tasks

• Creation and maintenance of work packages, bills of materials (E-BOM/M-BOM) and production documentation
• Planning of resources, processes and retrofit measures
• Execution of make-or-buy analyses
• Ensuring product and process quality through inspection plans and Quality Gates
• Support of projects from planning to production readiness
• Interface management between engineering, production and other stakeholders
• Continuous optimization of manufacturing, assembly and production processes

Profile

• Completed technical training (Engineer, Techniker HF or comparable)
• Experience in production or industrial engineering
• Knowledge in process optimization, quality management and mechanical/electrical systems technology
• Experience with bill of materials structures (E-BOM/M-BOM) and very good SAP knowledge
• Ideally Teamcenter experience
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good German and good English skills
