• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Full-time • Immediately - 31.12.2026 (Try and Hire) • DevOps, VMWare, Network Your tasks: • Collaboration in the project and operations team in the construction and operation of a highly available, highly secure Private Cloud • Support in the establishment of operations within the framework of a strategic large-scale project • Operation, maintenance, and further development of the VMware infrastructure (vSphere / vCenter) • Administration of Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2019/2022) as well as MECM/SCCM • Collaboration in network operations (including MPLS, BGP, Segment Routing, IPsec VPNs, IPv6, Multicast) • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational documents • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and project partners   Your profile: • Completed training as Informatiker:in EFZ • High interest and motivation to familiarize yourself with complex and security-critical IT topics • Good knowledge of VMware (vSphere / vCenter) • Practical experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 as well as MECM/SCCM • Sound network know-how (MPLS, BGP, Segment Routing, IPsec VPNs, IPv6, Multicast) • Experience with Cisco IOS XE and IOS XR • Advantageous: Initial contact with CyberArk, RHEL 8/9 or Red Hat OpenShift, basic knowledge of MS Active Directory, MS PKI and Satellite, experience with storage systems (e.g. NetApp MetroCluster), knowledge or practical experience in system hardening • Joy and confidence in creating technical documentation • Business fluent German and English skills • Impeccable reputation, and residing in Switzerland for at least the last 5 years
