With a strong family identity, we promote autonomy and innovation in a dynamic environment.* In order to expand our Methods & industrialization teams at PX Précinox and PX Précimet, composed of 7 people on each site, we are looking for a numerical simulation project manager. You are autonomous, curious, and have good communication skills in order to work with multidisciplinary teams. You have a proactive attitude and are a source of proposals. Numerical Simulation Project Manager (M/F) Your impact: • Perform numerical simulations on Coldform in close connection with business experts in order to reduce the time and costs of setting up new products in production • Verify the adequacy of simulation results with production reality (filling, defects, tool holding, -), analyze and understand discrepancies to better bridge them (impact of various external factors on simulation results and reality: friction / lubrication, mechanical properties of the deformed material and those of the tools, -). • Make rolling or drawing processes reliable and optimize them within the framework of cost reduction (Lean manufacturing) • Optimize tool life through the optimization of blank shapes and processes (work hardening per pass) • Write a simulation guide intended for business experts • Train business experts in simulation You make the difference if: • You have a scientific education at Bachelor / Master level in materials science • You have a first experience in an academic or professional environment in the field of plastic deformation (cold is an asset) • You master the numerical simulation of deformation processes (ideally with Coldform software or other comparable deformation simulation software) • You have a good understanding of phenomena induced by plastic deformation (cold is an asset) and heat treatments at the mechanical and metallurgical level for steels (titanium, nickel, cobalt and gold based alloys are an asset) • You master French and English both orally and in writing The next steps: If your profile corresponds to our advertisement, please send a CV as well as a cover letter.
