For our client, an experienced installation company from the Canton of Luzern, we are looking for several metal construction assistant fitters and fitters. The company installs facade and metal construction elements for well-known metal construction companies. Due to the good order situation, various assignments on construction sites in Luzern and the adjacent cantons are available.

The assignments last between one week and several months, depending on the project and your availability. In case of mutual interest, a long-term assignment or a later permanent position is also possible.

Job Description

As a metal construction assistant fitter, you will support the installation team with varied facade and metal construction work.

Your tasks include:

• Assisting in the installation of facade elements
• Installation of metal and aluminum components
• Support in the installation of substructures
• Carrying, positioning, and aligning components
• Fastening and screwing facade and metal elements
• Assisting in the installation of windows, doors, and metal structures
• Working on aerial work platforms, scaffolding, and ladders
• Preparation of tools and installation materials
• Unloading and providing components on the construction site
• General auxiliary and installation work
• Cooperation with experienced metal construction fitters
• Compliance with safety regulations on the construction site

The construction sites are located in the Canton of Luzern and in the adjacent regions of Central Switzerland.
Workload is 100 percent. Work is carried out from Monday to Friday.

Starting the position is possible immediately or by arrangement.

Requirement Profile

• Initial experience in metal construction, facade construction, glass construction, or on construction sites is an advantage
• Career changers with manual dexterity are also welcome
• Enjoyment of physical work and installation assignments
• Physical resilience
• Mandatory fitness for heights and freedom from vertigo
• Reliable and punctual way of working
• Motivation and willingness to pitch in within a team
• Good German skills or good construction site German
• Place of residence in the Luzern region or in Central Switzerland
• Driver's license category B and own car are an advantage
• Availability for a workload of 100 percent, Monday to Friday

A carpool option can be offered depending on the construction site from Emmenbrücke or Entlebuch.
