(Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d) 80-100%

As (Senior) Legal Counsel, you play a central role within the Implenia Group and take on legal responsibility for selected subject areas with a focus on Swiss construction and procurement law. You are the first point of contact for our internal stakeholders and support the business units as well as the group functions with sound legal advice.

Your place of work is our headquarters in the Ambassador House in Opfikon, with the possibility to also work partly from home.

Tasks: (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d) 80-100% ###

• In this role, you advise our operational units (mainly structural engineering) comprehensively on legal issues - with a focus on Swiss construction and procurement law.
• You undertake legal risk management in tender processes, contract negotiations, and closings (e.g., real estate purchase contracts, construction and project development contracts, rental as well as property law contracts).
• You examine, assert, and enforce legal claims - or defend them in the interest of Implenia.
• Additionally, you independently conduct contract and settlement negotiations and find pragmatic solutions.
• You represent Implenia before state courts and authorities and coordinate external law firms.
• Through internal training, especially in construction and procurement law, you strengthen the legal understanding within the company.

Requirements: (Senior) Legal Counsel (m/f/d) 80-100% ###

• You have successfully completed a university degree in Switzerland (lic. iur./MLaw) with a CH attorney patent
• In addition, you bring 4-6 years of professional experience as a lawyer and/or Legal Counsel, preferably with experience in construction law
• Your assertiveness and negotiation skills as well as your strong communication and team competence distinguish you
• You have a quick grasp of complex facts, work pragmatically and solution-oriented, and can communicate legal topics understandably to non-lawyers
• An independent, rapid, and careful way of working as well as a high degree of commitment and resilience are a matter of course for you
• You have business fluent German and very good English skills, preferably good Italian skills
