The Wohngemeinschaft am See in Uetikon offers 10 women and men, mostly following a hospital stay, a short- or long-term professionally supervised living option.

Operations Manager, 70-80% ##

In this versatile leadership role, you combine technical and economic responsibility, personnel management, and the direct support of people with mental disabilities. Together with your team, you shape a residential offering that promotes independence, participation, and individual development.

What are your tasks

• You lead the operation as well as the specialist staff and ensure a well-organized and professional daily operation
• You bear the economic responsibility for your area, ensure an economic and resource-conscious use of funds, and keep an eye on budget and cost development
• You actively participate in the technical and conceptual further development of the area
• You accompany, support, and promote the residents in their daily life management with the goal of a life as independent and self-determined as possible
• In addition to your leadership tasks, you actively take on shift duties and key person work. You ensure individual, needs-based support for the residents
• You participate in the on-call service, thereby ensuring the necessary availability and support outside of regular operating hours
• You ensure compliance with the qualitative requirements according to SODK Ost+
• You maintain cooperation and networking with the help system as well as with referring agencies
• You take on administrative and organizational tasks within your area of responsibility and participate in projects

What you bring with you

• Education and professional experience in psychiatry, social work, social pedagogy, or a comparable specialist field
• Leadership experience as well as enjoyment in leading employees participatively and appreciatively
• Profound experience in the field of living
• Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to take responsibility and make decisions
• Good organizational and communicative skills as well as an independent and proactive way of working
• Experience in administrative tasks and project work
• Good user knowledge of the common Microsoft Office programs
• Humor, serenity, and enjoyment in working with people
