Deputy Department Head of Production For our client in the Dorneck region, an established company in the chemical-technical industry, we are looking for an experienced and committed individual as a deputy department head (m/w/d) In this position, you will take on a central role in daily operations and support the management level in organizing, controlling, and further developing the department. You will ensure that processes remain coordinated, processes interact, and collaboration between different areas functions smoothly. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the further development of structures and working methods and take on responsibility in a technically demanding production environment with a lot of creative freedom. Your tasks Technical leadership and support of employees and shift teams, including coaching and know-how transfer Deputy representation of the department management in operational day-to-day business Planning and coordination of resources (shift staffing, vacation planning, technician deployments) as well as support of work preparation (AVOR) Collaboration on projects and optimization initiatives for the further development of processes Creation, updating, and communication of work instructions as well as conducting training sessions Ensuring efficient and trouble-free processes in the department Close collaboration with production, technology, and other interfaces Your profile Completed technical basic training (e.g., plant operator, polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder or similar) Further training as a process specialist FA, technical FA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage Several years of professional experience in production Initial leadership experience or clear willingness to take on responsibility Good technical knowledge in handling machines, systems, and production processes Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach Communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage Very good German language skills, English language skills are an advantage Do you see yourself in the above points?
