The Business Unit Operations produces parts for all Hamilton companies, from injection-molded parts to pipette tips for liquid handling to metal and plastic parts. Our goal is to produce as many parts as possible in-house. This keeps us agile, independent, and efficient. You can achieve this: • Secure and cost-optimized inventory management of the Electronics product group • Order processing with the ERP system for new and existing articles • Checking order confirmations • Delivery date security / delivery date reminder • Processing error messages • Processing and implementing eForms (change notifications, article integrations) • Recording and monitoring quantity contracts • Maintaining article master data in the ERP system • Obtaining and evaluating offers in consultation with the Strategic Procurement Manager • Participation in optimization projects in procurement • Participation in supplier evaluation • Checking and approving supplier invoices • Compliance with processes, governance, and compliance You bring this with you: • Completed basic training in the field of electronics or electrical engineering • Further training as a purchasing specialist or in supply chain management • Experience as an operational purchaser in an industrial environment • Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking • Independent, structured, and meticulous way of working • Initiative, negotiating skills, and assertiveness • Open, communicative, and honest person • Team player • Very good ERP and Office skills • Negotiation-secure in German and English, in word and writing Learn more about career opportunities at Hamilton at jobs.hamilton.ch.
