YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Leading the approval team in the area of vehicle modernization
• Responsible, along with the team, for approval activities in international modernization projects of rail vehicles, as well as for approval requirements and procedures
• Coordination with authorities, infrastructure operators, assessment bodies, and experts
• Coordination with engineering specialist departments, type test management, and other Stadler Service Locations
• Development of generic approval concepts for cross-cutting modernization topics on rail vehicles
• Further development of procedures and processes for approval topics in modernization projects
• Advising engineering and product development on approval questions during the sales phase

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Completed degree (FH/ETH/TU) in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree
• Experience in approval and technical knowledge regarding rail vehicles
• Very good German and English skills (B2 level), Italian skills are an advantage
• Open, communicative, and flexible personality with an independent, structured, and proactive way of working
• Affinity for the process-compliant use of requirement, verification, and document management systems (e.g., DOORS, Teamcenter)
