The Electrical group within the Technical Services ensures the safe and reliable operation of a state-of-the-art research infrastructure. Our electrotechnical systems range from classic building technology systems to demanding research and special installations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed leader who combines their profound electrical expertise with a passion for leadership, training, and practical collaboration. The function includes both leadership responsibility and active collaboration on complex technical systems.
Your tasks
Technical and personnel leadership of the Electrical group as well as promotion and further development of employees and apprentices
Responsibility for the safe, economical, and trouble-free operation of the electrotechnical infrastructure
Active collaboration in demanding installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance work
Planning and implementation of maintenance, repair, and optimization measures
Ensuring the availability and operational safety of high-voltage and low-voltage systems as well as other electrotechnical systems
Support of infrastructure and electrical projects as well as contributing optimization suggestions
Responsibility for the training of our apprentices as Electrical Installers EFZ
Participation in the on-call service according to the deployment plan
Your profile
Training as an Electrical Installer EFZ with further training in Electrical Project Management or a comparable qualification
Vocational trainer course is an advantage
Several years of professional and leadership experience in the electrical field
Profound knowledge of electrotechnical systems, standards, and regulations (NIV, NIN, ESTI, SUVA etc.)
Experience in the operation and maintenance of medium-voltage and low-voltage systems
Enjoyment in leading employees as well as in training apprentices
Structured, solution-oriented, and responsible way of working
Hands-on mentality as well as enjoyment in being technically active yourself
