Join an NGO committed to the heart of an essential struggle: the defense of press freedom. In anticipation of the current holder's retirement, the Swiss section of Reporters sans frontières is looking for its future secretary general capable, as an operational leader at the head of a small team of three employees and in connection with the organization's global headquarters in Paris, of:

• providing a strong voice in Switzerland,
• representing the association to the media and authorities,
• drafting position statements,
• conducting campaigns and advocacy actions with political bodies,
• working on the development of RSF Suisse by finding new resources.

Profile sought

• proven experience in media or human rights,
• in-depth knowledge of the Swiss media landscape and the issues of press freedom in Switzerland or media law,
• French or German native language with excellent mastery of the other language, very good English,
• excellent writing skills,
• strategic sense and management skills for the daily operation of an organization (finances, accounting, communication).

Type of contract CDI, starting no later than 1st April 2027, main place of work Geneva.
