For the goods inwards and metrology in Rain, we are creating a new key position with a clear operational focus. We are looking for an independent and reliable Quality Specialist Metrology and Goods Inwards (m/f) starting immediately or by arrangement. You ensure the quality of our incoming components through precise measurements. Your daily work is operationally characterized in the measuring room and in technical coordination with suppliers. You create measurement programs, define the testing strategy, and are responsible for the results. The subsequent series measurements are carried out by two team members according to your specifications. Specifically Execution of goods inwards inspections on mechanical precision components Independent measurement with Zeiss coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and laser interferometer Creation, maintenance and optimization of measurement programs as well as technical guidance of two employees for series measurements Evaluation, assessment and documentation of measurement results Direct communication with suppliers (technical clarifications, follow-up of measures) Close cooperation with purchasing, development and production Qualification Technical basic training (polymechanic, mechatronic technician or similar) Experience in industrial metrology and quality assurance Professional communication skills and assertiveness in dealing with suppliers Confident handling of coordinate measuring machines Structured, precise and independent way of working Perspectives Overall responsibility for quality in goods inwards in a lean organization Establishment and further development of structured quality management Preparation and support of external audits (e.g. TÜV, UL) Option for later leadership responsibility with appropriate development Short decision-making paths as well as a modern working environment with company restaurant Do you work precisely, think independently and take responsibility?
