The Frauenhaus Zug is a privately run, stationary crisis intervention center for women and their children who are affected by domestic violence. In addition to protection and security, the house offers professional counseling and support with the goal of opening up new perspectives, children are supported individually and age-appropriately. Social Pedagogue 60-80% ## «More than just a job: real impact for women who have experienced violence» Your tasks • Independent social pedagogical, trauma-sensitive counseling and support for children during their stay at the Frauenhaus (individual conversations, accompanied play sessions, etc.) • Parenting counseling for mothers, support, empowerment and relief in dealing with children in everyday life • Ensure and actively approach case-related cooperation with social workers • Triage and networking with other institutions and specialist agencies (school, kindergarten, KESB, etc.) • Crisis intervention • Administrative tasks • Participation in the organizational development process Your profile • Completed training in social pedagogy (FH or HF) • Experience in crisis intervention • Interest or experience in a trauma-pedagogical approach • Willingness to further educate oneself Our offer You can expect a manageable working environment with a lot of creative leeway and a responsible, versatile activity.
