The district capital Dietikon is a vibrant regional center and an important economic location in the rapidly growing Limmattal. The fifth largest city in the Canton of Zürich has around 28'000 inhabitants. In six school units, around 3'100 students from kindergarten to secondary level attend classes. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a temporary caretaker 80 – 100 % for 3 -- 6 months. Your tasks * Building maintenance and minor repairs * Care of technical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems) * Management and coordination of ext. craftsmen and cleaning staff * General cleaning work building * Maintenance work surroundings (waste, snow removal etc.) without green spaces * Various control and monitoring tasks * Administrative tasks * Cooperation with school management, teachers and the administration. Your profile * Completed vocational training in the manual/craft sector * Caretaker with Federal Diploma of Higher Education * Further training in the field of facility management is an advantage * Several years of professional experience in caretaker services, including leadership experience * Good knowledge of building technology (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems) * Independent, structured and service-oriented way of working * Sense of duty and responsibility * Team-oriented personality with good manners * Good German skills (oral and written) * Driver's license Cat. B * Good IT user skills (Microsoft 365) * Enjoyment of contact with teachers and children.
