Students, young people and adults live at Johanneum. They attend the special school, clarify their choice of profession, complete training or work in the workshops with protected jobs.

For our special school, we are looking for a

School Assistant (m/f) 50-80%

starting 19 October 2026 or by arrangement

Area of responsibility

You work under the guidance of a teacher or a specialist teacher. The activity is mainly to be understood as 1:1 care for a student with special needs. However, the assignment can also include areas of group lessons, individual lessons, personal care and general care.
Diverse tasks (administration, team meetings, coordination, project week, etc.) are also parts of the assignment.
Workload
The working hours during the school weeks are basically based on the needs of the school, approximately from Monday to Friday from 7.45 am – 12.00 pm and 1.00 pm – 4.15 pm.

Your ideal requirements

It is an advantage if you have experience with children and young people
Positive attitude to respond to the needs of the children and young people
Teamwork skills and sense of responsibility
A healthy dose of humor
