What you can achieve

• Assignment in the Optics specialist group for various maintenance and adjustment tasks
• Maintenance and adjustment tasks on field glasses of the Schweizer Armee
• Maintenance and adjustment tasks on optical as well as optronic instruments of the Schweizer Armee
• Assistance with incoming and outgoing inspection of army material
• Assistance with various projects such as material provision of new material
• Execution of condition checks on army material on-site at LBA companies
• Production of visual aids for protective masks
• Operation of the US system incl. gluing the lenses
• Production of visual aids for protective and special glasses

What you bring with you

• Completed technical training, ideally in the field of optics, optronics, fine mechanics, mechatronics or comparable
• Professional experience in the maintenance, adjustment or repair of optical or technical devices
• Experience in handling optical and/or optronic instruments is an advantage
• Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of precise work
• Skill in handling fine mechanical components and tools
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to work with army material and compliance with corresponding quality and safety specifications
