The Réseau Santé de la Glâne is an association representing the 14 communes of the district of la Glâne. It consists of three medico-social establishments (235 beds including 24 beds in psychogeriatrics), a Day Center with 8 places, an Evaluation and Orientation Stay (SEO) unit of 12 beds, and the home help and care service (ASDG).
To complete its team, the Réseau Santé de la Glâne is recruiting for a position of
Head Nurse of a care unit (ICUS) at 80%-100%
Mission
Coordinate the care unit in accordance with the mission, guidelines, and the concept of care and support.
Provide care to residents in accordance with recent best practices while respecting safety, efficiency, comfort, and economy.
Promote nursing expertise in a global support of the resident.
Organize, plan, and manage the daily management of care and the team.
Identify the needs of the team and respond to them.
Respond to the needs and expectations of residents and their families.
Collaborate with the IC for the coordination of the care sector.
Coordinate the internal activities of their unit to achieve annual objectives.
Participate in institutional projects, quality processes, and the continuous improvement of practices.
Ensure on-call services with the possibility of intervention in less than 30 minutes.
Profile
Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or a diploma recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
Holding a CAS in team management or a title deemed equivalent would be an asset.
Confirmed clinical expertise and knowledge in geriatrics and/or psycho-geriatrics.
Sense of responsibility, autonomy, dynamism, and flexibility.
Good communication and listening skills.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
Knowledge of common IT tools (PEP, Carefolio, RAI, MS Office).
RAI supervisor training would be an asset.
Very good oral and written knowledge of French.
