Healthcare Specialist EFZ or MPA for inpatient ward with focus on Internal Medicine (m/f/d)

The Spitalverbund Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the Akutspital Herisau and the Psychiatrisches Zentrum AR in Herisau ensures the expanded basic medical care for the population in the Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population of the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care for the canton and beyond.

In the Nursing Department under the nursing management of Frau Dragica Novakovic, we are looking for an immediate start or by arrangement for a healthcare specialist (Fachfrau Gesundheit or Fachmann Gesundheit) for the interdisciplinary inpatient ward with a focus on Internal Medicine at a workload of 50-100%.

Your tasks

• Holistic and individual care and support of interdisciplinary patients in close cooperation with the graduated nursing staff
• Ensuring a high quality of care and service in the sense of our mission statement
• Professional advice and support for relatives
• Ongoing documentation of the nursing process
• Administrative tasks

Your profile

• You have completed training as a Healthcare Specialist EFZ (Fachfrau Gesundheit EFZ, Fachmann Gesundheit EFZ)
• Alternatively, you have training as a Med. Praxisassistentin EFZ
• Initial professional experience in a hospital environment is very desirable, but this is not a mandatory requirement
• Interest in the care of interdisciplinary patients
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Cheerful and team-oriented attitude
• You are a communicative and open personality who puts the patient at the center
