Head of Communication and Marketing - Member of the Executive Board (80 - 100%) Pro Natura is the leading organization for nature conservation in Switzerland with 170,000 members. It is committed to promoting and preserving the native fauna and flora. Around 100 people work in the Pro Natura office, and another 100 are active in the 23 Pro Natura sections. For the Pro Natura office in Basel, we are looking for the Communication and Marketing department as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement for a Head of Communication and Marketing Member of the Executive Board (80 - 100%) In this key position, you will take over the strategic and operational management of the Communication and Marketing department with 25 employees. Building on an understanding of integrated nonprofit marketing, you are responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of the areas of Marketing, Communication, and Fundraising. As a member of the Executive Board, you are jointly responsible for the development and implementation of thematic, financial, and personnel strategies of the Pro Natura central association. What are your main tasks? Overall responsibility for Communication, Marketing, and Fundraising (online/offline) Development and implementation of strategies and campaigns Leadership, promotion, and further development of the department Management of change and organizational development processes Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Responsibility for planning, budget, and quality assurance What do you bring with you? A university degree (University or Fachhochschule) in Marketing and Communication or a comparable field of study Many years of experience as a manager in the areas of Marketing, integrated communication, and Fundraising, ideally in the nonprofit sector Strong analytical and strategic-conceptual skills as well as experience in strategy and organizational development processes Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as a confident and convincing appearance in German and English High social competence, empathy, humor, and integrity Decisiveness, conflict management skills, and negotiation skills Great interest in nature and environmental topics What do we offer you?
