Veterinarian Large and Small Animal Practice 80 - 100% Winterthur

For an established large and small animal practice in the Winterthur area, we are looking for a committed personality with a workload of 80 to 100% to start immediately or by arrangement. You can expect a varied field of activity ranging from small animal medicine to livestock medicine, including surgical and diagnostic tasks in a modernly equipped practice.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• Independent care and treatment of small and livestock animals in daily practice life
• Performance of diagnostic examinations using digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory
• Medical assessments and treatments in the areas of internal medicine, gynecology, and dentistry
• Performance of soft tissue and abdominal surgery including caesarean sections, tumor surgeries, and intestinal surgery
• Herd management as well as veterinary assignments in livestock medicine
• Advice and support for pet owners
• Close cooperation with clinics, specialists, and the practice team

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in veterinary medicine with a Master of Veterinary Medicine MVetMed degree or an equivalent degree recognized in Switzerland
• Joy in working with small animals and livestock
• Interest in a versatile veterinary activity
• Career starters, experienced veterinarians, and those returning to the profession are welcome
• Driver's license category B
