The cdmt Instr includes the Formation supérieure des cadres, Personnel de l'armée, five application training programs, the Centre d'instruction de l'armée as well as the specialized service Femmes dans l'armée et diversité. One third of the approximately 2350 employees practice civil professions in scientific, technical, medical, psychological, administrative or sporting fields and contribute, along with career soldiers, to the success of the army. The Armée suisse employs more than 9000 employees in four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, across 110 sites throughout Switzerland.
