Technical Leadership Retaining Structures in Structural Underground Engineering

In this role, you will undertake the technical leadership for retaining structures in structural underground engineering for new construction and maintenance projects of the railway infrastructure.

Tasks

• Technical leadership of retaining structures with a focus on structural underground engineering for new construction and maintenance projects
• Review of project dossiers from variant studies to preliminary and construction projects for retaining structures and cut-and-cover tunnels
• Expert services for the assessment of existing retaining structures and advice on construction measures
• Further development of technical specifications and guidelines for new construction, maintenance, and monitoring measures
• Coordination with authorities and participation in working groups for standard development
• Initiation and accompaniment of research projects for innovations in structural underground engineering

Profile

• Completed studies in civil engineering (FH/Uni/ETH)
• Several years of practical experience in structural underground engineering
• Technical leadership experience and audience-appropriate communication
• Knowledge of railway operations as well as relevant regulations
• Fluent German (at least C1), good Italian or French skills (at least B2)
