Business Intelligence and Data Analyst

Together with specialist departments and IT, you will use modern BI, analytics, and AI technologies to create real added value from data - from the data source to the informed decision. Together with you, we will shape the data-driven future of our logistics.     What you can achieve  • As a link between business and IT, you will develop data-driven solutions for analyses, reporting, forecasts, and planning along the entire value chain in agile teams and with modern BI technologies.  • For our internal customers, you will analyze and interpret data from different source systems, understand the underlying business processes, and derive concrete areas of action and solution approaches from them.  • You ensure high data quality, enable users in dealing with new self-service BI solutions, and coordinate technical issues with the relevant IT partners.   • You plan and moderate workshops as well as training sessions and are a competent contact person for our stakeholders.   • With your expertise, you contribute to strategic projects and working groups or take over their leadership. In this way, you make an important contribution to the digitalization and data-driven further development of our business processes.  • You develop forecasts and prediction models for operational and strategic planning along our business processes.    What you bring with you  • You have a completed degree (Uni/FH/HF) in business informatics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or a comparable field of study.  • You already have initial experience in the conception and implementation of BI, analytics, or AI solutions and want to further expand your know-how with us.  • You have sound knowledge of Power BI and use technologies such as SQL, Python, or comparable tools in a targeted manner to analyze data and optimally use modern cloud technologies.  • You think analytically, recognize connections in complex data and process landscapes, and derive understandable as well as practical recommendations for action from them.  • With initiative, responsibility, and a solution-oriented way of working, you actively drive topics forward and promote successful collaboration across specialist departments.  • You communicate convincingly in German or French, bring good knowledge of the respective other national language, and have confident English skills. Additionally, you move confidently at the interface between business, specialist departments, and IT.    You work mostly on-site in Bern or Zürich-Mülligen, supplemented by home office possibilities. For work assignments at our locations throughout Switzerland, you bring the necessary flexibility and willingness to travel.
