Legal Counsel Cyber Security (m/w/d) Cyber risks are among the greatest challenges for the financial sector today. Attacks are becoming more targeted, the consequences more far-reaching: They can noticeably impair the stability and reputation of the Swiss and Liechtenstein financial center. For this reason, the Swiss FS-CSC association was founded as a public-private partnership on 5. April 2022. It aims to strengthen the resilience of the financial sector against cyber risks and build a joint structure for information exchange and crisis management. Do you want to actively shape the future of a dynamic, young association as a Legal Counsel? You analyze complex legal issues, provide orientation on regulatory and governance-related topics, and contribute to developing legally secure and sustainable solutions, even in challenging situations. Legal Counsel Cyber Security (m/w/d) Entry from August 2026 or by agreement. In this key role, you work at the interface of the financial center, cyber security, politics, and the public. With your legal expertise, you support the strategic development of the Swiss FS-CSC and make a significant contribution to strengthening cyber resilience in the financial center. Requirements You have a completed law degree (MLaw), ideally with a lawyer's patent and/or several years of professional experience You are able to strategically categorize and prepare complex regulatory and technical topics in a target group-specific manner You appear confident and negotiate skillfully with different stakeholder groups from the financial industry, authorities, and partner organizations You work independently, in a structured manner, and have a high level of implementation strength. You think pragmatically and solution-oriented ("risk-based approach") You communicate confidently in German and negotiation-securely in English, and ideally also have knowledge of French Tasks You review and ensure the quality of association and governance documents, policies, directives, and internal regulations You support the legal development of the public-private partnership and advise on central FINMA regulations, information security, data protection, crisis coordination, and international standards You accompany projects and working groups on legal issues and ensure compliance with relevant requirements You bring your expertise to cybersecurity initiatives in the financial sector and support their legal implementation You create, review, and negotiate contracts such as cooperation agreements, NDAs, ADVs, and data protection agreements You advise the management and committees on association, data protection, and financial market law issues You develop decision-making bases, reports, protocols, and presentations.
