As Head of Nursing Specialty Areas, you will actively develop nursing at the USZ. Together with your medical and business partners, you are responsible for the interprofessional management of a medical division. Together with your team, you ensure the efficient and quality-oriented implementation of the USZ strategy. Help shape the future of nursing and set new standards in healthcare! Our over 8'600 employees and around 700 trainees are committed every day to the well-being of our patients. ### These are the tasks you can look forward to • Leadership & development: Direct leadership and development of a dedicated team of around 7 leaders as well as indirect leadership of around 1200 employees in the overall area. • Responsibility & impact: Overall responsibility for the strategic, personnel, and economic development of the area as well as ensuring the agreed goals. • Innovation & projects: Initiation, management, and successful implementation of cross-divisional and USZ-wide projects with sustainable impact. • Nursing development: Active co-design and further development of your area according to the principles of nursing at the USZ. • Education & junior staff: Ensuring the educational mandate as well as promoting basic, advanced, and continuing education. • Design & change: Active participation in transformation processes as well as in the further development of structures, processes, and organizational forms. Our desired profile • You have a degree at FH/HF level in the field of nursing as well as advanced management training at MAS or MSc-N level. Additionally, you possess an NDS in intensive care, anesthesia, or emergency nursing, or have corresponding experience in the OR area. • You bring at least five years of leadership experience at the highest management level in a hospital and have successfully led teams across several hierarchical levels. • Strategy development as well as change management are familiar and practiced competencies for you. • You have an established network in the hospital sector as well as in the wider healthcare environment.
