In this versatile role, you are responsible for the implementation, supervision, and continuous further development of product tests. You set up test objects and test configurations and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and functional tests on technical products and systems. In doing so, you operate modern test benches and automated testing systems, evaluate the results obtained, and prepare the corresponding test reports. Furthermore, you take over the maintenance and care of the testing systems and operating equipment, carry out minor repairs and troubleshooting, and support modernization and automation projects. In the area of test equipment management, you conduct and document calibrations, manage testing and measuring equipment, and monitor the corresponding calibration intervals. Compliance with applicable quality, safety, and process specifications, as well as support during audits, accreditations, and the validation and verification of testing procedures, are also part of your area of responsibility. You work closely with various internal specialist departments as well as external service providers, manufacturers, and suppliers.

For this demanding task, you have completed technical vocational training as a mechatronics technician, automation technician, electrical installer, automation fitter, electromechanical technician, electrician, electrical technician, or have a comparable technical training with an electrotechnical background. Further training as a Techniker HF or comparable further training is an advantage. You bring good knowledge in electrics and electrical engineering, as well as ideally experience in control, measurement, and regulation technology. Experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technical systems as well as in handling testing, measuring, or calibration devices is also desired. Knowledge of PLC, automation, or drive technology is an advantage. You have good MS Office skills and are characterized by an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working. A high level of personal responsibility, technical interest, quality and safety awareness, as well as a reliable and team-oriented personality round off your profile.
