Ittigen | 80-100% What you can contribute to <br /> • As head of the specialized service, represent medical questions related to the NBC field within the health service • Develop guidelines for the medical CBRN field as well as contributions to national protection against CBRN threats • Continuously monitor the situation regarding CBRN threats and take resulting medical measures to protect troops in Switzerland and abroad • Advise the high-security laboratory in Spiez and the NBC-DEMUNEX Competence Center, and develop contributions for research activities • Coordinate training and further education in military medicine in the field of NBC defense, develop and revise the corresponding training bases, and advise the Chief Medical Officer of the Army as well as other heads • Represent the needs and interests of the Swiss Army in national and international working groups, assume the deputy function of the head of the Medical Intelligence domain <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Doctor/medical doctor with a federal diploma or a federally recognized diploma, holder of a university degree (master's) in a natural sciences discipline • Understanding of military medical processes (preferably staff officer) as well as in-depth knowledge in the CBRN field or willingness to train/deepen knowledge in this field • Ability to quickly identify cause-and-effect relationships and deduce measures from them, as well as autonomous and proactive working method • Willingness to work in a team, participate in specialized committees, and regularly travel abroad • Good active command of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language, as well as very good command of English <br /> In a few words In this unique position within the Swiss Army, you act as an expert/advisor for various stakeholders to advise them on medical prevention and defense against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRN) threats, and you play a key role in developing operational guidelines for medical CBRN defense.
