Unit Lead Operational Engineering Steriles

In this leadership position, you are responsible for process and automation technology for sterile production at a pharmaceutical production site. You will lead a team and serve as the central contact person for technical concerns of the manufacturing units.

Tasks

• Functional and knowledge-based leadership of process and automation technology in the sterile production buildings
• Close cooperation with CAPEX Engineering, Reliability, ITOT and the Manufacturing Units
• Handling of escalations and ensuring adequate solutions
• Demand planning and coordination within the unit
• Management of complex troubleshootings and lifecycle process improvements
• Representation of the department during authority inspections and audits
• Leadership responsibility including goal setting, coaching and performance assessment of the team

Profile

• Master's degree in engineering (process engineering, life science, chemistry, electrical engineering or automation)
• Postgraduate training or doctorate an advantage
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including CAPEX projects
• Several years of leadership experience, directly and/or in a matrix organization
• Sound knowledge of authority requirements and regulatory changes
• Understanding of quality systems and cGMP
• Fluent German and English in spoken and written form
