About Our Client ##

Our client is an established Swiss software company based in the Canton of Zug, which specializes in innovative portfolio and wealth management solutions. Its software is used by banks, asset managers and other financial institutions worldwide.

For the further expansion of the product team, we are looking for an analytical personality who wants to contribute their financial market expertise and actively help shape the further development of the platform.

Job Description ##

• Analysis of customer requirements and further development of the valuation functions of an established wealth management platform with a focus on different asset classes, including equities, bonds, funds, structured products, derivatives and alternative investments.
• Translation of technical requirements into functional specifications and concrete development guidelines in close cooperation with Product Management and the software development teams.
• Analysis and optimization of valuation processes, market data, interfaces and data flows as well as identification and rectification of discrepancies in portfolio and performance calculations.
• Active collaboration in the further development and quality assurance of the platform, including testing, validation of new functionalities and processing of complex product inquiries.
• Direct exchange with international customers, participation in customer workshops and product presentations as well as close cooperation with internal specialist departments.

The Successful Applicant ##

• Completed training or studies in the field of Banking, Finance, Business Informatics or a comparable specialty.
• CFA or similar further training is a big plus
• Several years of relevant professional experience in Banking, Wealth Management, Asset Management or in the financial software environment, ideally with a focus on Portfolio Valuation or Business Analysis.
• Sound understanding of financial instruments, valuation methods and portfolio management as well as technical understanding of software solutions and data processes. Analytical, structured and independent way of working as well as enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders.
• Fluent English and very good German skills; other languages an advantage
