R&D Laboratory Technician 80-100%

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components required for the precise control of plasma processes, which are used in the production of memory chips or touchscreens for sensors, smartphones, or tablets.

What you will do:

• Support the laboratory manager in the maintenance and further development of the laboratory infrastructure
• Development and construction of the test infrastructure for the characterization of electronic modules according to specifications (plant engineering)
• Maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure incl. operational equipment recording/disposal, calibrations, and repairs (incl. administrative support)
• Support in the procurement of laboratory infrastructure and laboratory materials according to specifications

What you bring:

• Min 5 years of professional experience as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, or automation technician
• Experience in electrical measurement technology, in the construction of test benches, as well as in the planning and development of electrical control systems, experience in plant engineering
• Knowledge in the field of control cabinets and ideally in the evaluation of safety-relevant machine controls
• Programming skills in PLC, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Very good German skills and good English skills as well as an independent, structured, and reliable way of working
