What you can contribute

• Guarantee the smooth running of work and the conduct of the military and/or civil personnel assigned during the handover and return of army vehicles and equipment in compliance with directives
• Store material, move it, and remove it from stocks according to the rules of the art; make it available or ship it according to current prescriptions and directives
• Determine the material intended to be repaired or overhauled, check and guarantee the good working condition of the material stored on the surface or in the basement
• Inform and instruct the troops and specialists on the handling and maintenance of the material assigned to them within the framework of receiving army systems and equipment
• Perform stock management, inventory, and replenishment

What makes you unique

• CFC as a logistician or equivalent training
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite and SAP for stock management, inventory, and replenishment
• Category B and C driving licenses and forklift license; ideally, category CE and A licenses
• Fast and conscientious working method, organizational skills in order to guarantee an irreproachable running of the work
• Responsible use of the SAP material management tool and excellent social skills for regular contact and advice to customers

The Army Logistics Base (BLA) is there for the troops. With its approximately 3500 female and male employees and 12000 militia soldiers, it provides all logistics services for the Swiss Army and manages its equipment, its systems, and its infrastructures.
